arrrgh! the last time i was in tehachapi it snowed! that place is evil i tell ya. things are fine here in the valley......as long as you dont mind the smell from the daires
wow I'm guessing you are up on a hill, I see its only about 50 miles from Bako, no wonder Squeak's down here in the sun.....
Heres a picture of my 65 Chevy Pickup, Taken in San Bernardino, CA a few months back. Not much but its still very noticable.
Usually here in the City, it's fogged in but today it is ****ing gorgeous! and it was suppose to rain on us yesterday. Almost drove past the exit to work... just want to keep on ridin'.
Hey Guys, Thanks for postin' the airbrushed, photoshopped propaganda photos of Sunny Kalifornia. Now remember to mention the 16 million people (that they know about) in the los Angeles basin, the fires, floods an occational civil unrest, and don't leave out the earthquakes. On the plus side, ya can hot rod and cruze twelve months of the year, without being lapped by a polar bear or iceberg. 'jus wish they'ed quit puttin up the "big brother cameras" at intersections! S****ey Devils C.C.
Yeah! And we can do it in ****ies shorts and one of our favorite Hot Rod T-shirts too! Don't even have to wear shoes, although most of the summer months we should all be wearing gas masks. SMOG!
This pic is from one of the lighter snow storms we've had this winter...You guys in So Cal are lucky...
THIS IS SNOW...40 inches in December, another 28" after Christmas, more in January...total of 64 inches in Denver alone...about 6 inches still on the ground in my back yard...and a four foot drift still in front of my garage door...it's melting...and April is only 41 days away. YOU guys got it so tuff...!!! R-
I used to own 40 acres in Tehachapi, sold them a few years ago, but up on the mountain in the winter, it could really snow at times, your picture does not do it justice. I prefer L.A. were we had 85 degrees last sunday. Sorry for rubbing it in, guys.
Being a former Bostonian......I'll take those tuff SoCal winter storms ANYDAY over what use to hit us in the NE area......I also lived a short time at the "Big Lake" at Weirs Beach, N.H. (Brrrrrrrrrrrr). That's why I made it to the Atlanta area 6 yrs ago......I just couldn't take the weather any more. God bless you guys up in the Ind./Ohio area this year. PACO
What the hell is all that white stuff?! hahaha Here on the Central Coast we never see any of that mess. It was close to 70 degrees today. I love it here. The wheather never drasticaly changes all year long. It may rain a day or two but then it will be sunny for a few weeks or so before we get another "dust control" wetness.
hey man, I don't think Tehachapi counts as Socal. Mel and I went through there with the trailer this weekend and it looks like another part of the world.
Man this cant be right, my daughter came home from school and told me we are experiencing global warming and the planet is heating up??!! Said she saw a movie made by someone named Gore, dont know no actor named Gore!!!!
saturday was extrememly humid. o wore a pair of short shorts and some old ripped up converse. sunday was overcast, and im not even right on the coast. thursday its supposed to snow. but i will say this, when i was in laramie, wyoming and it was snowing, i had no problem going out side in the same outfit, i just got numb in 2 minutes. here it gets cold and is just uncomfortable. i would take a cold wyoming day over a cold paso day anyday.
Windows open all weekend, t-shirts and BBQing. Tough going at first but someone managed to make some Margaritas. This is what I'm paying for out here. I already did my years in New York. I haven't heard much lately from anyone along the southern lake fronts, i.e. western NY, Cleveland-Akron areas. I'm presuming they are all dead or are hunkered down until they can dig their way out.
That's crazy! Abe and I were just driving though there yesterday morning and it was nothing but sun! You live in some of the most beautiful SoCal countryside I've seen yet. Absolutely unreal.
Everyone DOES live in California, thats the problem with this damn place, people just keep coming & coming & coming....Just you wait, Morro Bay will be over run too. I never thought I'd see LA type traffic up here in the Monterey Bay but we got it now too, can't ***** about our weather though, guess I'd want to move here too. I'd love to pitch donuts on a frozen lake sometime though.....
