A few of our club are going The Coasters 4 of us are comming down from Ottawa and meeting with 10 more from around southern Ont. OH yeah is there going to be a h.a.m.b. meet?

Yeah, when the time gets closer we'll do a HAMB Meet & Greet post. Will probley do one each day since there are so many different folks going on so many days. Does any "club" or "group" want to "host" the meet and greet in their area?? Last year the NightMares hosted it, the year before it was just a group of HAMB folks in the same area. Nothing really to it, just "allowing" HAMB folks to gather and hang out in your area and perhaps having a chair or two available for the "older" guys to nap in.
Me & Ford Freak will be going for the first time. We're taking a bus tour there and we'll be there Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning. I've been wanting to go for years, but this time everything seems to be coming together for it !!
I'll be there in the ba*****t with my new "barn find" 1928 roadster. This will be my first Autorama and I am really looking forward to it. I'll probably drive the old fourbanger from Ann Arbor to the show and back. I have a Thursday PM move in time and I'll be staying at the Marriot. Probably see the Rev. on Friday night and catch part of the Hammtramack Blowout on Thursday and maybe Saturday night. Looking forward to meeting everyone! Guy Z.
I just heard a rumour tonight.. for those of you staying at the Pochatran(sp?) that the city closed half of the rooms(condemed) I do not know if this is a nasty rumour or fact.The fella that told me was chartering a bus from Kanada and had his hotel now at the Marriot.He was bring 50 or so folks on a party bus. Anybody else here about this?

I'm no club, but I'm down with having a "meet" in my area, because I have met literally like zero HAMBers in real life. Except for my wife, but when we're in public I pretend not to know her. We have chairs, and I condone drinking.

There seem to be a lot of "high brow" cultured types here on the HAMB, what with all the ballet aficionados wanting to see all of our Canadian ballerinas in Windsor,....us Canucks just go to the strip joints!
