37 chevy pickup

    work continues on my 37 chevy pickup
    power is supplied by a K.A.R. race cars 496" chevy
    muncie 4 speed and narrowed dana 60
    21.5 x33 mickies
    am stuck on a bed , don`t have much room behind cab
    I am open to any suggestions ! :confused:
    maybe a flat bed ?

  2. 'Ya know, a T-bucket style pickup bed might fit right in there OR you could make a custom one based on that style. A flatbed is easy but sometimes can look to plain. Then again if you make it a scaled down stakebed with varnished wood.......just my 2 cents worth. By the way, nice looking project you have there!

    I'm glad to see you finally post this. Now that we got the grille shell cut down and mounted, it's really starting to look like a truck! lol

    I like the proportions, atleast the wheels aren't 8-feet infront of the cab.

    And those proportions are like that because its going to be running fenders to hide the IFS?

    You could cut down the original box or fab up a 2 to 3 feet long box and tub it.

    yeah the stake bed would be cool...but then i'm partial to them!
