Nice job Laurie! Have not been on here much. Will I get a chance to see it and all my Canadian buddies at Viva? Hi Mike and Dave! I'll be there for sure again.
Mike the Kar looks Great, what can you say about Laurie from"Canada Kustoms and hot rods",just look at the March ol'skool rodz magazine and there he is with his Dirty 7 kick *** Rat Rod pick me up Truck, check out the magazine and you be the judge. This guy knows how to build Kars
WOW!!! She's B-E-A-UTIFUL! I just saw one of these about a month ago I think this is going to be my next car. they are soo nice looking. GOOD JOB
OUTSTANDING custom! I've never seen 56 bumpers on a 54' before and I LOVE that look! Excellent color also! Congratulations! It's great! Oh, for that 800th post!
Great looking Chevy. The chop is dead on.[/quote] You betcha!! Stance is everything. Stance is right, chop is right. Lights are right. To me a custom like this has the making of an Icon. You don't need to change a thing, but did you consider some scallops? real 50's style. Just a thought, could be suttle. Or just leave it like it is.... Drop dead gourgeous!!
Congrats to builder and owner! As others have stated, NAILED IT!! Total inspiration for my car. I'm always interested in how others have done the Packard Tails, since I have the originals. Again, timeless custom! Jon
Thanks for all the compliments on the car, it's been a great couple of days reading all your posts. Ratboy - Part of the doors and arm rests are Zodiac gold flake vinyl. Monster Kid - It has a Camaro clip with 2" dropped spindles, and 2" de-arched rear leafs with about 5 1/2" worth of blocks, c-notched frame etc. Thanks again guys, as this thread slowly fades into "thread heaven". Now it's time to have some fun with this ride .......
Came out perfect Custom 54....wasn't sure when you said you were changing from the green to gold..but now I see why....will be lookin for it at Viva....
