If anyone has noticed I have not been on here that much, family illness taking up my time.

How much fuel pressure do I need to run with this setup? Right now it is at 5 and it is running good. Thanks in advance. I would call Abomber, but he is afraid to come into the city and continentaljohn thanks for the spring!!! I went to auto zone. I would call Bobleed, but he is too famous for me now!! Oh and I could call one of the cheaters but they do not know what the hell they are doing!!But I know I can always count on wingnuts for a reply. And one more thing, at low idle in park I get a pop out of the exhaust.

I don't know the answers you seek... but thanks for the pic of the neat motor!

  4. Hey Bill

Sounds like we need to get the throttle plates all the way closed at idle and turn the Idle mixture screws in a little on the end carbs.

5 LBs should be enough..., I'll have to bring my "Special Tools", Cheese curds, cheese cake, and Jalapeno cheese balls down to IL and we can dial those ****ers in..., OK? [IMG]

You shouldn't even have idle screws on the end carbs unless you're running straight linkage, which from your picture, it doesn't appear you're running.

Only the center carb should have idle screws. You need to get the right base plates for the end carbs if you want to run progressive linkage with 2-GC carbs.

Your talking about nummnuts set-up here....! [IMG] (No high dollar base plate fix here! [IMG] [IMG]) We'll just turn in the end carb screws all the way and make everything work "OK" without spending a "Dime"! [IMG]

Besides ..., He likes the challenge!!! [IMG]

What do you mean TURN into a ****? I have always been one!

OK, maybe not a ****, but ***HOLE suits me better.

Only to a Chicagoan is Central IL Southern.

Just strap that $10 to a goose's leg and I'll shoot it down when it flies over.

I'll be waiting out in my yard, sitting in a lawn chair in my speedo with my shotgun.

As for fuel pressure, mine is running unregulated and runs fine. I don't have a tired, worn out, Olds motor though!

Desoto Santa- Why don't the endcarbs need idle screws? Is what wingnuts said true??? Should I just screw them already in? I was riding around today terroising the neighborhood with the kids and the car sems to be ok, but when I come to a stp sign it dies out. I need to learn all of this because if Abomber ever gets a car back on the road I am sure he will ask me to help him!!! And for all you ***s out there that want to see nummnuts in a speedo, it is almost summertime!!! Watch out everyone!! Plowboy, where do you get your material from? You make me laugh!!! MZ- you can drop off my hat by John or stop by here if you like or if you want to go out Sat. night?

Yeah I think turning the screws in will work.....

    Nice Pants. HOMO. HaHaHa

  19. Why don't you just give me that center carb, for my Man-A-Fre.
    That way you'll have a "traditional" Bi-Power.
Yeah... Just put a plate over the hole on the intake and turn the idle screws on the end ones out just a tad.
Thank you, that would be really sweet of you.

Bill I see that you are proud of your score from the petting zoo.

You don't really need that fancy boat and all the getup. Just a handful of crushed corn and a hammer would do.
