It depends on the neigborhood, there are OK areas and really rough ones too. Kinda depends on your race, then size, then overall demeanor. If you look lost, good luck to you.... I lived there off and on for 3 years in a ****tier part, and worked in even rougher neighborhoods, and I survived. Been in fights, yes. Had guns and knives pulled on me, yes. Had **** stolen out of my truck, yes... If you go during the day you will avoid most of any trouble you might have.
what part of inglewood? just dont turn down a dead end street surrounded by projects... same **** as oakland imo you can hire me and my friends for protection!!
My kid brother and his wife will be there tonight,my bros pretty big but white though and is driving a new black dropped Altima with $4000 wheels and tires,I'm kinda concerned, about that...its right off the 405 on the west side...maybe he should wait until morning to show up there...
Sounds like fresh meat...the west side is a little better. He can park that on the street and make bets on how long those wheels last!
Inglewood is one of the nicer upscale neighborhoods in Los Angeles. It is primarily african american these days. I lived there for 3 years and never had a single problem driving around in my car. All I ever got was compliments. Mind your own business and be smart in any neighborhood. I've had to deal with the cops 3 times in Manhattan beach since i've lived here for BS happening in my neighborhood. Not ONCE in inglewood. That altima will be a dime a dozen and the wheels and tires are small change to the majority of guys in Inglewood. You'll see plenty of ballplayers and 24" wheels. I wouldn't worry about it. Theres slums in beverly hills if you look hard enough. -Dane
[ QUOTE ] He can park that on the street and make bets on how long those wheels last! [/ QUOTE ] Why? There are probably 4 altimas around the corner with $8000 spinners. I disagree and drove through there 20 minutes ago.
Cool..the ownwer of the car we bought is a black older gentleman, but he was really nice and said the neighborhood was ok..
west side of the 405 isn't bad. Didn't even think that was concidered inglewood. anyway daign the cops in Manhattan beach are the worst in the south bay they have nothing better to do then **** with people. I grew up down here. Those cops are the worst
Daign is right. Its not all bad. I lived over by the racetrack right before and after the riots. It was pretty rough, alot of tension in the area. Few people we saw had a nice car of any sort. If you offered an opportunity to a thief, it was taken. Things change over the years. All the "bad guys" are moving up here to the desert anyways.
Dude, Are you some kinda woman? This post and also I see this... [ QUOTE ] Just wanted to say Goodbye ,I'm done with the whole HAMB ******** theater..Waste of time and a bunch of ***s!! Its gotten so lame..it aint worth it..there are other boards out there with more polite folks.Zeke dont erase my pics man!! I'll be checkin in from time to time..Thanks for being cool...Later Marc [/ QUOTE ] Save the drama for yo mama. Love RASHY
during the day its pretty decent... but once night falls it's a whole diffrent scene. Just be carefull, and watch to see if there are any groups of "not so nice looking" guys chilling and drinking 40's. Thats were the real problem lies, 90% of the time they will just mess with you for the hell of it. manny
There's a great mexican resturant there - El Puerto Escondido . Don't quite remember the address, closer to west side, but that's about as far as I've been in Inglewood...
Opreation Inglewood was a success no one was killed, picked up th car and is on the g****vine as we speak! My brothers opinion of Inglewood was "Kinda Ghetto Dude"...hahaha
Theres nothing wrong with Inglewood. I grew up in Lawndale and we had a higher murder rate....per capita.
