I can't find drums for my `56 Poncho anywhere, so I am looking at doing the disc brake conversion with the brackets offered by scarebird.
    anybody use them?
    Good stuff?
    thanks

Haven't used them yet, but He's a HAMBer and I have spoken to him about a set of brakes for my 47 Dodge. Seems like a straight shooter.

I used a set of his brackets to put disk brakes on a Corvair front end in my friend's 34 Ford. The set of brackets he first sent were not quite right. We called and told him what was wrong with suggestions on how to make them fit right. He sent corrected brackets as soon as he could. They worked just fine. A good guy to work with.

I bougt a set of his caliper brackets for my 55. It came with a complete parts list for all the parts and spacers to run tapered bearing. The price was worth it to me since he did all the legwork to keep my pontiac all pontiac.

I was thinking about using them on my 60 cad, but when I sent a message to find out what master cylinder should be used the guy said he didn't know. I'm not sure how you would determine this.
