"Yeah take the cockroach.Ha. HA. Your cars not going to rust either Deuce Dog. Are all 32 Fords rust proof? Real rodders have to fix rust before they can go anywhere. Ha. HA.(Just Kidding)"

Tom, So sorry for your rust problem...Your old man should be able to help,
and no, not all 32's are rust proof...wise guy!

Nick, "you have something on Sunday", what's HER name?
If its not raining do you want to ride with me? I need to get you dad's long board back to him anyway. Maybe meet in Collinsville?

I will show, but all I have so far is my donor car, so the runabout will have to do.

Sunday noon on the rock road Chuck-a-Burger. Sounds good.

On a different but same type of note, every sunday at 9:00a.m. a few of us H.A.M.B.ers meet for breakfast. Hwy 55 south to Hwy M (Barnhart exit) left (east) 1/4 mile to Holties Grill. Great cheep breakfast.

1swank1, man I was all geared up to go to creative customs on thurs. , then checked the little misses calender and she is workin. The boy aint quite old enuf to drag my drunk ass home yet. so I'm stayin home. :(

I'm considering coming to this, especially if it is warm enough to get the roadster out. But I have no Idea where the original ChuckA burger is??? I'd be coming in from Jefferson City, either from I-70 or I-44 can you lead me on in?? Or what is the addy, and I'll map quest it. Thanks, Rusty.

When my grandpa ran the place he was more into "show" cars and didn't understand the work in progress types. He passed away and now my dad owns the company, and I run the rock. rd. store. Neither my dad nor I have ever turned away any cool traditional ride, I'd probably make 'em park on the street if it was a complete piece of sh-t though. We are trying to get rid of the image that we will turn down anything without shiny paint or a $25,000 price tag. Actually my car club put on 2 successful shows last year dedicated to pre-65 traditional cars only. Just trying to clear up any rumors and bad feelings toward us. thanks.

Your grandpa ran the place when I used to cruise there. I remember backing up to the billboard one night (the one with the headlights, you know what I'm talkin about) and I walked in to grab a bite. He meets me at the door and says "what are you parking over there for?" I had to think a minute, hoping I wasn't in trouble or something, I thought parking around the building was for curb service. He said "you come here driving a good looking car like that you park it right in front!!" I will never forget that, I thought it was cool as shit! If he had only seen it up close he might not have said that..........

I'm going to plan on bringing my 29 RPU barring rain/snow/ subfreezing temps. If it is just sub freezing I'll just bring the Willys. Hopefully see you guys there. Later, Rusty.

In all fairness that happened a long time ago and we joke about it now. However, that car did become front row quality later on in the 90's. I have not made it to the new ChuckABurger yet but look forward to it this year. Say, being a FNG, maybe this has been discussed, is there such a thing as a HAMB window decal? Currently I have a Palace of Poison decal on my vent window.

Actually I own the rights to Palace of Poison, and reproduce similar stickers to the original if anyone is looking for them.

Last night's weather forecast looks a little bleak for Sunday...everyone still in? If it's raining I may cancel and work on the car.
