I don't get it? Do you just attach the faux plugs wires after you get to where you are going? Really?

They've been on here a few times, and just like anything fake like that, tehy're not worth the time or waste of bandwidth. I'd rather see VW's.

Alright....I already feel bad enough for running a SBC in my '48(insert laughter and chastising here), WITHOUT trying to make it look like a flathead. I mean, the motor's built and paid for, so I'm trying to give it some "nostalgia" without "patina"ing it....3x2's, finned valve covers, blah, blah. You can't polish a terd....A reliable terd, none the less, but still a terd in the ways of the HAMB.

Well............since SBC's have the distributors at the rear, I'm thinkin' the one you actually SEE is a fake. I suspect that the "real" dizzy is under the rear of the oversized air filter with the wires snaked downward and under the exhaust manifolds/headers. :)

You can see the real plug wires back by the fire wall....... then just cut off an old dizzy and stick it in the hole where the fill tube would be on your old 283 intake! Its so easy I could do it........ but I wont!

I was kickin it with Stevie Wonder the other day and i showed him those flattie covers and he said "Dam, those things are so ugly, i would have to paint them red like a fire hydrant just to get my dog to piss on them".
