I agree. Stupid music, stupid dolls, stupid poorly built cars, stupid old farts sitting in folding chairs............I wonder if I would catch hell for parking my car with the front wheel ON TOP of one of those idiotic dolls??

Thanks man! We have never meet yet, but Im sure we could all get together and do some fun damage at a show! Im trying to get my shop going (Vintage Customs) and I partnerd up with Steve(Knuckle drag Nostalgia) and we got a shop in Largetto.(largo) Any how Im also trying to get a car club 2gether over here called the "Poor Sueders" (say it fast and youll get another word out of it) Oh yeah...my car will be suede in a few weeks too! But Dallas and a few others are already in so I would love to kick around some joint efforts with you guys to get some new shows going West Coast style? Let me know how you feel about that and we should go further if your in? That Fantacy of Flight place would be cool as **** with the WWII planes and **** around....my buddy puts on a show just like that in Pomona, Ca. and its huge! Hope to get some good times going! Fish,
There are a couple of us in my area that would support the efforts of a cool show, keep me in the loop.

The plane museum's a good idea, I'd help out.
My buddy works at the Lakeland dragstrip, that's another choice spot.

We're having a meeting on Saturday about The Rumbler's next show.

I think we're gonna go back to Bruce Rossmeyer's HD,

    good or bad idea?

    Sorry about the hijack.

Thaks kool, Hey man you know we Fla. West Coasters LOVE that show but I think you lost quite a few of us due to the extra milage to the HD place from out here....The show must go on I know but "O" Town is close to both sides and a fair gig for everyone to make....the more central the larger the chances of everyone going I think? Thats a 4 hour trip in my car to the east coast compared to a nice 2hours it would take to "O" Town. Im going no matter what but Im just talking for the people ho have mentioned stuff to me after last years...saying they thought it was far? Take that with a grain of salt! Do what you must...it cant all be perfect I know! Cowboys was kool though!

Thanks sounds good! I will keep posting stuff on the HAMB as we get more things going but I want to see this be a calaboration of all of us to get something huge going like the Rumblers show...everyone loves that show because of what it is and the kick *** cars you see and hot music and laid back atmosphere that goes on there...just down right good people and good times...thats all I want! A place that if you see a chopped Merc or primed up Chevy pull up, and you say hey that **** looks cool, the guy driving ACTUALLY SAYS THANKS and takes a second out to shoot the **** not look up to see some young punk compliment his car and give me the look like I hope you dont ask me what that bumper or grille is from..as he gets back into his book hes been reading since he got his chair set up and his doll in the right spot on the front bumper! Yeah, here I go again I know Ill shut up!Anyhow Ill keep you in the loop! Thanks 4 the support! ..P.S. Should we make a shirt with a car ontop of one of those kids? This is one for the photochop guyz!LOL!!!

I'm on the fence about the H/D location...

A lot of us didn't go last time because of that as well.

We might would go next time, but it's a strain.

I liked the Cowboys location, but if it was a problem, another place around the area would be cool.

  8. How about a Donut Derelict type get together on a Saturday AM somewhere between Pinellas/Hillsborough and Spring Hill area? Not organized enough to have to have insurance or anything... Just meet up someplace for coffee, whoever shows up, shows up. Baby steps.

A bunch of the Orlando Rumblers and some other central Floridians are going to this. Planning on having a small car show out in the parking lot. God willing and the crick don't rise, I'll be there with my Oldsmobile.

We have a Saturday morning breakfast @ 9AM at the 'Blue Moon Cafe' in Springhill Florida. If any of you guys would like to come, your Welcome! It's right off highway 19 and Northcliff, just before you get to the Weeki-Wachee Mermaid Park.
Maybe we can start some ideas and put together a gig.

Seems like there's always something to do around here. Hell, I just took my wife to dinner in New Port Richey and there was a huge cruise going on at a steak house. Never even heard of that one.
the "hot rod breakfast" is always fun and the owner of the Blue Moon Diner seems interested in helping to promote some sort of show. Maybe a possibility? Mike

Seems that communication is key here.

I find out about things going on that I would like to go to but only after it already happened or the day before or of.

A few of us in Hernando county have managed to find each other and have a routine Saturday breakfast. The one that ahotrod mentioned. I think at least 7 or so of us are here on the HAMB.

Maybe something could be organized on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or somethingly, for Hambers to get together with some real hot rods and kustoms. Not a bunch of check book designed cars or late model **** that you can go to a new car or used car dealer and see on their lot.

tommychop's idea sounds like fun. But who do we put in charge of posting bail for us? That is if it is going to be a true raid. Will there be ****** and pillaging? I have seen those crowds and the ****** part just doesn't seem too appealing. The pillaging though could be good. Lots of ebayable **** to be had. We could go Road Warrior on their ***es. I'll bring my he****. We can haul alot of booty away in that.

Hey guys, I'm up in Jacksonville. Anyone know of any hangouts / shows or even just people into the HAMB style stuff? I stopped going to the "Saturday night cruises" years ago cuz the same old street rods, Mustangs, crying dolls and lawn chairs were just way to boring. I found myself walking through once, then jumping back in the car to take off. Why even bother goin?? Send me a PM or email me at dave@mindmagma.com with any ideas. Thanks. Dave
