I work for Ford in the Illustration Department, we used to be next to World Headquarters and Ford has a whole historical archives department there. About 10 years ago I had a chance to look through a bunch of old photos housed there when we were moving buildings (we had to archive some old illustrations, stuff like GT40 cutaways) they have some pretty cool stuff in there, I no longer have the contact information but the public can request historical photos, I think they are part of FCN (Ford Communication Network) now.

That photo and a couple of others were printed in the magazine I received a couple of weeks ago for the Hot Rod and Restoration Trade Show. I don't have a scanner, so I can't post them. But if someone else has the mag maybe they can do it. Very cool photos.

I know I know. If any 32 purists have any crappy model a's they wanna dump, I'll take them all:D

  21. Cool ass pictures. One thing I find interesting is how "bright" it is in that plant, compared to some of the other assembly line pix I've seen. I wonder if that's the Rouge... it didn't look that nice when I used to work down there. ;)

I like the differences between the way the origional coupes were stamped compared to the 75 years later pics.the advances in manufacturing making the larger one piece pannels possibly
