track roadster video????

does anyone know of any video footage of track roadster racing?

theres a short bit in the movie "The Big Wheel" with Mickey Rooney
and i have a short bit on a video from Zellers Grove and Hilltop here in PA

but neither of these have very much footage

i read something about a mario andretti movie with a track roadser in it...but that could be wrong

it really seems to be a lost era in racing
you dont see alot of cars found and restored
not alot of books about it
(2 don radbruch's and **** wallens)

does anyone have anything?

I'll have to look at my copy of "To Please a Lady" with Clark Gable, there might be a liitle roadster stuff in there in the beginning but it's almost all midgets and "big car" roadsters after the opening stuff. I have a copy of "The Big Wheel" also and it has a little bit of roadster stuff before the midget footage gets going.

This is my favorite era of real racing stuff, track roadsters and midgets. One of these days I'll have a Kurtis midget sitting in the middle of my living room!!!
