    I've recently discovered http://www.pandora.com/

You type in the name of a song or artist you like and the site streams music that is similar. Works well for me.

I made myself really sick of surf-rock last week after typing in "Dick Dale";)

Octane Radio gives you the ability to listen to your favorite music of the 60's all related to automobiles, including commercials, songs, and Recent Drag Racing coverage and interviews from all around the motorsports world

I listen to Octane Radio and Motorbilly on Live365 all the time. There's a few others I tune in to but they aren't the type of music you were asking about.

Somewhere between Memphis and Chicago is the Whip!

Lonesome Larry's very cool independent radio station that's not strictly Hot Rod radio, but it's a great mix of Blues, Bluegrass, Southern Rock and Country. It's all I listen to.

I'll second the motorbilly on live365.com suggestion. The d.j. Del not only plays alot of car related music but promotes quite a few car shows. Pool.

Motorbilly rocks! Thanks for the thread. I may never leave my computer again. It puts XM to shame.

D.J. Del Villarreal also does most of the music reviews in KCD magazine AND AND AND he's right here in Detroit! Kool. Top notch station. His live show is run every Wednesday night.

If you like really obscure old R&B, DooWop, etc., try Rock-it Radio

  19. Go to Live365.com and search for ball and chain radio. Good stuff, we listen to it in the shop on weekends.
