thats quite a bit different. I was just thing what a falcon or fairlane about that year would look like with square headlight, these people probably did it as a modern upgrade not for looks.
I had a boss that was from Argentina. He showed me a similar pic of a 2dr Falcon. All the old Ford tooling went to South America. They modified it some. that car was made in the late 80's-early 90's. I think they made 34 Fords for a long time too.

They made Ramblers and Kaisers and all kinds of stuff for a long time down in South America (Argentina in particular) after they quit making them up here. I often wonder how hard some of this stuff would be to get up here and whether you could ever actual register them to drive on the streets. -Dave
Yeah, it's definitely a newer Falcon. There are some videos on YouTube about these, even one that was turned into a drift car.

To make this thread worthwhile ... If anyone is running the Ford small six (144/170/200) and wants to use an exhaust manifold instead of headers, use the Argentinean exhaust manifolds. I got one a long time ago from Jim Dottling Thunderbird Supply and it is honestly about twice as thick as the USA castings. 2" pipe out. I sanded mine down to remove the casting numbers and plan to polish it before coating it.
Along with the falcons the 67 to 72 style trucks were built into the 90s down there so that means there are probably NOS parts down there that could be used up here. Jeff
Every third world ****hole I've been in has lot's of old American iron. Turkey has the most. The taxis there are mostly '55- '57 Chevrolet. I have to add that I haven't been in a third world ****hole since I left Uncle Sam's employment in 1999, so things may have changed.

Not quite, Argentina only got the tooling for four door sedans, so the wagons, or rurals as their known as are built upon those cars. They didn't get the long quarter panels that US built wagons and Rancheros got.
