A Picture of my 48 Lincoln Cont. Pulled the 57 Caddy & orig. 3spd OD & sold it to Ryan in L.O. Mich. (the setup was not dependable in this big a car,overheating/vaporlock in the carb with the fuelpump on top, boiling the brake fluid etc.) I'm replacing with a semi-mild 351W & C6. Not sure if i'm changing out the rear (oversized banjo like a V-8 axle) with a 9" or not. I'm thinking it would be easier to just convert to an open driveshaft than to mess with all of the suspension. Rides & handles great with lower profile tires to get it low to the ground.

    Heres my older cars...

1947 Chev Sedan Delivery, as of last weekend. I just put the new engine and trans in (355/M20), placed my carb setup ontop, and plopped the body back on the ch***is. Its all just trial fitting / looksee at the moment. Progress is slow but spasmodic!

1965 Dodge Dart GT. I think I have sneaked these pics onto the hamb before. I've done some work on it over winter but basically it looks the same.

    cheers

I have had this Lucy Blue 1971 Lemans Sport for 11 years. Originally a 400 car, She now has a 462, Ram Air, 200-4R and 3.55 posi cogs.

But it is time for a change. Looking at a 73 MGB-GT, using a 87-88 T-Bird 2.3 turbo/ 5 speed and water intercooler, coilovers and tossing all the Lucas ****.

The 83 Girlanetta is the import smasher. Originally a 305/auto car, she now has a tweaked 350 Tuned Port, 700-R4 and 3.23 Zexel rear, 4 wheel disc, IROC swaybars and shocks, along with ****** stuff all the way back. Does high 13's on 205-70-14 (stock) street rubber. Girlfriend drives it and sometimes humiliates foolish ricers who do not hear the 350's warning growl.

What bugs me are people with convertibles who never put their tops down.
Sebrings, Mustangs (Fox types) Mercedes, 'B'mers, and the like. I ***ure you. I partake in the whole top down experience. life's too short not to.
