Sounds cool - although you might want to dig up this exact post in the archives and save everyone else the trouble of repeating themselves. However, if you don't want to go through the effort, I'll just let you know that I'm 6ft 10 inches, 270 some-odd pounds ... it made sense at the time.

I suppose that mine is self explainatory. At this time I have 8 advance design Chevrolet truck, panels, suburbans and 1 '67 Chevrolet pickup.

When I was as young as 11 I would drive my dads shop truck around the garage lot day after day until it was out of fuel. Guess it left a huge impression on me.............................

I'll play. Lefty, not because I never had a nickname, or the fact I'm left handed. But for the great Lefty Frizzel. 51, not because that's the year I was born, but the fact is Hank and Lefty crowded every jukebox, "That's the Way It Was In '51". Now I'm confused, maybe I made the whole thing up!

Actually, when I signed on in 2001, I thought a nickname would be a logical choice....my friends call me "dumb***"....but I chose hatch instead. I may change it to "Can't decide what to build".....or maybe "Where the **** does this part belong?".....or how about "Someone broke in my shop and STOLE my screwdriver".......possibly..."Bring back PeeWee Herman"

I've had my name since I joined AOL back in '97. Comes from the remade song by the great "Man in Black" called "Riders in the Sky." Always loved that song, and since AOL wouldn't allow it to be Ghost Rider, I used my Hooked on Phonics tapes and came up with Goztrider.

It's a Tolkien reference (yes, I'm a geek), nothing to do with 60's kitch or rat rods.

My nickname came from the hotel I stayed in for a while. Still dealing with some anger management issues. You got a problem with that?

My first "hobby car" was/is a Mustang, at the time my boy was two and couldn't say horse. It came out hoof, and it stuck. I had the Mustang horse and HOOF s***ched into my NOS bottle blanket.

Mine was given to me by a co-worker. We were comparing cd's that we bought and I was listing a bunch of stuff from the 40's and 50's. He looked at me and said, :do you buy anything new? You are RetroJoe". I liked it and it stuck. I am a fan of old cars, old music, and old movies, and happened to be named Joe to boot.

Just a cl***y guy, or is that an old guy I forget. Second thought, maybe it has something to do with an old car.

Well it ain't because my head is flat, or that I'm a true born Okie. It's because I like flathead v8's, have a flathead in my '31, and lived in Oklahoma most of my life.
