First, I'm not quite sure if this is allowed to be posted here, so I'll apologize to Ryan right now if I'm in the wrong... Here at GARAGE magazine, we're actively searching for a full-time Production Coordinator. If you're not familiar with the term, it's basically an admin position for the needs of a magazine. Except, in this case, there's the added benefits of working very closely with the people shaping our culture, as well as photoshoot coordination and all the cool **** surrounding the stuff we do. We're looking for someone who can do the job--it's a fast-paced world we live in and it really never slows down--but also has an appreciation for everything this board is dedicated to plus all the other stuff you see in GARAGE. So, if you're highly organized, a little hyper, can work in downtown San Francisco and love the magazine, I want to hear from you right away. Here's a more detailed description of the job: http://tinyurl.com/yrv3es Plus, you'll be in good company: Ryan designed the original logo for GARAGE back in 2001! STONER
you got it backwards,,, a production coordinator is one up from the house *****, or otherwise known as "production ***istant". very good opportunity for someone though.
****, I did that work for Primedia,(for a car magazine that the HAMB would not particularly like) besides being an editor/photographer/event attender/copy editor.... but I have a brand-new, paid-off, Ocean-View house, about 8 hours up the 101 from you guys... and that's too much of a commute- even in good weather I'd never make it to work on time.
Plan9 is somewhat right--there's alot of office work included in this job, but on the other hand, it's all good times. Hey, it's all centered around what you see in GARAGE, so if you're into that kind of stuff and you're detail-oriented to a fault and you'd like to make a career out of what you love and you can work in San Francisco, this is the job for you.
I know someone here can help Stoner, plus you get to experience the chicks with beautiful breastissessesss.
