I know that Keith Ashley, owned or is the owner of the the Fairlane Company he owns the Larry Ernst Barris Chevy Clone, and is a really cool guy, I have seem some of their stuff seem really good quality.
They apparently changed hands about two years ago; I talked to a guy there about 3 yrs ago and he seemed really knowledgable about all aspects of what I needed. When I dealt with them last year (bought gl*** running boards for my '52 thru Sac Vintage) the guy I talked to was good, and worked with me on a problem, but ultimately didn't know what he was talking about on the boards. They make quality stuff, just the usual caveats -- look at it as soon as you get it, and send it back if it's not 100%.
I have some Fairlane fenders and running boards here right now. 35 Ford parts. Nice quality, and about 1/4" thick.
