Anybody else make any good buys at Decatur? What did you find? I'm not asking for prices, just wondering what you brought home.

The best thing of all was the 1938 standard running boards badly needed with old rubber still on

HAd a great time and met some ne Hambers. This swap meet was a prime example of how hard it is starting to get to find good early ford parts that aint new. Cant wait till next year, this swap meet has gotten better and better

We had a good time out on Friday. The score my buddy made was a cheap big logo 97. We were both running to the table when we spotted it, but he was first to notice it so it was his. It was cool 'cause it had the Stewart Warner Gasoline heater fittings still on it.

    I got
    - 6 innertubes, various sizes
    - F1 steering column, box and wheel
    - 41-46 Ford Truck column, box, wheel and column drop.
    - 4 banger home made intake for down draft 97.
    - Aluminum timing cover for 49-53 flathead
    - 1939 trans wide fork shift tower
    - 1940 Ford horn button "Ford De Luxe",
    - NOS Ford truck pedal pad from 1940
    - NOS 32 Ford spring perch
    - 31 roadster deluxe drivers side stanchion. Anyone have the passenger?
    - 50s chrome cup holder that mounts under a dash.
    - 1920s paper church fan with Model T Ford era garage prices and ads. (ie "resurfacing transmission bands $3.50")

  12. Well we got alot of dust, the wind was really bad.But managed to sell and buy some stuff.
    - fenton 2 carb set up for my 216 50 fleetline 150.00
    - 2 artillery wheels 10.00 each
    - 2 50 chevy wheels with tires 25.00 both
    - set of tires new 30.00 each
    - 36 rear bars
    - 2 40 ford rims
    - 6 beat up b-l-c head lites price varied
    - 5 stewart warner southwind heaters.( I needed 1 for my 32 roadster but scored 5, the best score for me.) 25.00 for all
    - 50 chevy luvered hood 150.00

I brought home a cool looking pair of bloodshot eyeballs. Oh and a pair of 59 caddy tail lights, edelbrock carb for my buddys truck, aluminum wheels and tires for my truck and a bunch of cash.

I got a bunch of junk for my POS, but the thing that tickled me was a 55-57 Chevy wiper motor out of a "everything $1" box :D
