I've just recieved a quote from AKHwheels for a set of 15 x 12 Ansen Sprints. He wanted $700 per rim ... I offered $625 per rim and he accepted. (But I'm thinking even this is way to much) I'm after a set of 15 x 12 (slot looking) rims for the rear of my Willy's that are period correct (sorta) ET Wheels have their ET Altereds that look pretty cool and probably for a little cheaper - I have not enquired, so don't know for sure. I'm in New Zealand and Ansens of this size are not easy to come by. Question ... even at $625 ea, IMHO these rims are pretty expensive. What do you US guys pay for this sorta stuff ... a lot less - or is the price on the level? Who's got some for sale?!!
I know 15 X 12 Ansen rims are pretty rare, but that sure seems like alot of money to me. I sold two 15 X 11 Halibrands on ebay for 700.00, and was happy with what i got for them....Ed
