Finally fired the blower motor. Video (I think)

    See if this works....I got the cam broken in and this is the first time she has idled.

  2. Hehe, awesome. I'm getting ready to do the same thing, can't wait.:) Mine's got these big ugly wide valve covers with holes in the middle....

    Is your drive 1/2" or 8mm, or ?

    Holy shit, it worked! I know we love Youtube, but I figured I was lucky to get it at all with the stuff I have.

    Anyway, this motor is a baby at only 406 cubes. She is 7.9:1 with 8lbs of boost. Should live a long time on pump gas.

    Still lots left to do, but she should be back on the road this weekend.

    Very nice, pray that it doesn't eat oil pumps. It sounds like music to my ears.

    Hey, this video thing isn't too hard..

    Here is a bit more, but kinda the same..

    Yo Baby, I will definately drive to th eDrags unless something terrible happens. I gotta line 'em up with Kerry and Trailer Ed.

    Don't think I will have much for D.W. though...he's a bit out of my leauge.

    Thats awsome!!! where goes the fan? will the Radiator still keep it cool? I need to get a radiator that will hold my 420 horse 350:D ...65 mustang right?

    that rad does look a tad skimpy!

    but congrats on getting it going....I remember when I first fired my blower motor, it was a life-changing experience :)
