I would take the drive up to LA on friday, visit the petersen then in the evening check out bobs big boy and get up real early and hit huntington beach for donut derelicts saturday morning.. I will be in LA on wed, after my last final. I'll be in SD too but I dont know much about that area yet
Go to Tommy's and get a chili burger/chili fries. Oh yeah, there might also be some car stuff around there.
Just back from a trip to SoCal..... (weather a lot better than England Don't miss the Peterson Museum, Bob's Big Boy with lots of cool car, I loved this shoebox chopped, bagged and sectionned...... Donuts Derelicts really early but a lot of cool cars and cool people..... Visit MoonEyes in Santa Fe and So Cal in Pomona...... Ok, I don't bring any new ideas but it was so cool that I had to say that I went there
You will be in So Cal for the March Meet. This will be the first year in many with out Good Guys involvement. I think it will be more focused on racing and real racecars. Should be a good 'un. March 9-10-11, Famoso Raceway, Bakersfield.
A friend who grew up in the nieghbourhood took me to this place a few months ago. Its in South Central, sunday night 10ish , Manchester and Broadway. Its a ****in warzone but you'll see some really nice lowriders and if you are lucky you might get to see some really big woman in thongs dancing on top of hummers as they drive down the street - GHOST RIDE THE WHIP !!! hahahahaha That **** is no joke L
Stop by my friends custom and hot rod shop. Call either # on the business cards to set up a visit, it's a family owned shop, nice people easy to talk to. Here are a few cars they have built. They are not that far from Mooneyes if you decide to go there.
