Greetings, I am newly registered from Texas. Fort Worth to be exact. I've been watching and reading the forums for a while, but it was time to make it official. I am an artist and designer. I've done design work for some "big name" custom bike manufacturers here in Texas (been burned by the best of 'em) but mostly keep it to myself, too many crooks out there. Right now I'm doing my own thing, including building my '56 F100. I've gotten lots of good advice just reading the boards and paying attention to they folks that have been there, and done that. I do CAD design for machineing and 3D model mock-ups of just about anything, new tools for the old school. Great to be here. Unkind Z
No shit, it is a small world. <- In downtown Fort Worth right now <- Designer <- Working on a 56 F100 Welcome aboard.
Welcome, I too just joined this board.Sorry to hear about your experiences with the "big boys"!!! I have been down that road also. Even been threatened with legal action for putting pics of my work, taken by my camera, on my website! The pics are still there. The hot rod world is a lot kinder, not just a bunch of look at me wannabes like the chopper scene. If you are ever on the east side of the metroplex, look me up. Tim www.irrationalmetalworks.com
Tim, I'd love to come check out your shop, and show you some of my stuff. I dont' get out that way much, but any excuse to get out of the house is good with me!
When ever you need one, give me a shout! The Cotton Gin is just down the road, I hear they make good food! I would like to see your work.I might have some for you also Tim @ www.irrationalmetalworks.com
