Those are Woodlites, used on Jordan Playboys and accessory light for big expensive cars of the 30's like Dusenbergs etc. they also made miniture versions for use as matching parking lights.
Sure wish I'd have made it the WOW this year. The last time I went it sucked something fierce so I blew it off this year. D'OH!! The display looked great and you guys deserve to be famous. Hope you all don't go Hollywood on us.
I saw this display it was just about breath taking. Chad, Kevin and the rest of the guys & gals done one hell of a job. Hats off to every one that had a hand in make the display!!!!
Thanks for the kind words guys. I was wondering, if the shop is going get all famous and all, does that mean I have to get MORE tattoos and learn to play an instrument?
No. Nor does it mean you hire a bunch of knuckleheads to work in the shop and have a high strung 'manager' running around all the time telling everyone that they can't do anything right. But, if you want more tattoos go ahead. Just don't learn to play the zither...
Yeah, I'm loving that aircraft look too, what did you use for that finish? edit: I just replied to the ass-pilot that left that first comment on YouTube.....
Mike: Ok on the tattoos then. I'll get one this month. As for the instrument, no zither, it would have to be hammer dulcimer.
Hmmmm....T.V. cameos, H.A.M.B. calendar, Hop Up girl friend and now this?! Careful you might just get in a good magazine yet!?
Cool. That is a kick ass dispaly. Our club did some indoor shows last year. Our display was not nearly as complex as yours and it took all frickn' day to set it up I can't imagine how much time you guys had in that one. Great Work!
Thanks Eyeball. It actually went up in about a day, what took the longest was getting all the cars there. Only two trailers, so two trips each. Many thanks as well to everyone who helped out! It was a cast of tens.
Wow, I just read what he wrote. I guess MaMopar must have been using alot of tractor grills in '38 and '39. Like on the '38 Plymouth, the '38 Dodge, and the '39 Dodge D11. Whoda thunk it? Tractor parts on a production car.
Did you read that comment from that dipshit silentagony...so i post a nice reply comment to him too...what a fuckhead.....John in AZ
That looks like a great show. The old advertising signs are awsome. The comments under the video look like an argument that would spring up here.
Wow, I am going to have to hit youtube and see what all the hubub is about. Shit, now I guess I have to get more tattoos now??
Ummm...Chad, I wasn't trying to be funny?! In fact I'd reccomend a good tattoo artist if you're interested.
