I had heard from the seller that it was once in st. louis...owned by a guy who had an old gas station on his property and restored old gas pumps...

What a great score. I don't have any info on it, but I love those original 50's-60's customs. Really glad to hear it still looks the same. Good luck with your search. Gary

I'm pretty sure I saw that on Ebay a few years ago, and It went for far lower than what I thought it should have sold for. I recognize the fancy wood garage door picture, I was pissed I could sell my Corvette quick enough to buy it for myself.

Cool talking to you 31 WHITEY.....
Yep.that is Ted Hoy's Truck....Ted belonged to my car club at one time.....waaay before me.....I did meet him this past summer and that truck was built in our club house in 59 or 60.
THAT is a VERY historic piece. You are now the keeper of the flame.
    Young guys...take note!!!
    We have a TRUE survivor.....
That truck did alot of shows in the early 60's and saw a good amount of road duty.
It has been a favorite of mine for a long time.(I even used it in a poster)

I will get Ted's number for you.......
