I promise to post some picks soon. I traded a nice little 69 Chevy pickup for very nice 57 two door. No engine/trans. The body is all done, painted slate blue with Bel Air trim air brused on. Also came with a built turbo 400. Its been sub-framed with a late-model Trans-am front and disc brake rear. Good gl*** but almost no interior.

I have a fresh 283 (I REALLY like 283s) to put in. I might trade the auto for a stick.

    Man am I stoked!!!!

Can't just tease us like that.

    So is it really a Bel-Air or was it a 150 or a 210?

I just ran the vin #. It was born in Los Angeles as a V-8 150.

I'm thinkin g***er at this point. The air-brushed side trim is kinda hokey but 57's are one of the few cars that look better with trim than without. I do prefer the 210 trim over the 150. Maybe I'll just tape it off and cover the rest in John Deere satin black.

This has got to be low buck. I have set my budget at 3500. It should be doable. What do you think?
