Been working on my '32 as much as I can recently and reached a small milestone on the weekend when I was able to roll the (nearly finished) ch***is out the garage and bleed the brakes (thanks Firefly!). Had a couple of minor leaks, but cranked the fittings up a bit harder and they are ok now.

The ch***is was pro-built by a friend, but I have done as much of the other stuff as possible - built the headers and exhaust, steering column, plumbed brakes, recessed firewall, filled and repaired dash, etc.

Summer is starting to wind down here, but in the next week or so I am going to put the body back on and hope to be able to drive it soon after. It's 10 years since I bought the body, so I'm looking forward to it !

    Here's some pics ...

What happens to the cross bracing when the suspension compresses? They look really close to the driveshaft. Maybe its the pic?

Nah it's not the pic - it's got no springs in the back at the moment so it's sitting down on the bump-stops.

looking cool I am almost at the same stage ch***is is at the painters gearbox was rebuilt last week and I painted it gloss black on the weekend and I have fully polished the engine ( it seemed like a good idea when I started) being all alloy

Soon as the painter finishes I can re***emble back to a rolling ch***is
