I'd love to come out and attend this- but i probably won't be able to. Money is tight right now, however, my old man in Hutchinson would probably like to ride his bike out there-i'll try and get him go out there and meet some hamb guys- he's a real nice guy, but not the social butterfly that i am- it's like pulling teeth to get him to go do stuff like this. Com'on up! Abilene is straight North of Wichita. So far we've got Missouri, Nebraska and ColoRODo covered, so we need an Okie to balance it out.

No surf, I probably won't bring any grub, but if I make it I'll be sure to chip some cash in for the goodies.

 

Meet at my place between 11am and Noon.

from East or West:
Take I-70 to Abilene/K-15
Take K-15 South through town to 1800 Ave. (about 5 miles)
Take a right on the 2nd driveway on the right (#839)

From South:
Take I-35 to Wichita,
Take I-135 North to Newton
Get off on K-15, go North.
When you get close to Abilene, you will pass Rural Center School at 1400 Ave, Go North another 4 miles to 1800 Ave (Isn't math great?!), take a Left, see above.


From North:
Depends, you can go to Beatrice on 77 and continue South into Kansas until you get to I-70. Or you can jog West at some point and take K-15 South to Abilene.

Signs will be posted (That's Kerry's job... )

i'll see about gettin' there. i gotta get something runnin first though. i might bring some other friends with traditional cars as well.

And also for those who were wondering about the show thing we were trying to put together in emporia, for this year we couldnt get our park, already booked, so we are going to invite anyone who would like to come on April 28th to Giger's Street rods for an NSRA safety day and cruise in. we'll be hanging out and enjoying cars, probably something to eat and whatever else goes on.

 

There are some El Dorrodders that want to come, well one for sure. Abilene is bigger than a one horse town so where is the second horses house? Or just keep me informed before I leave.

The '52 is not roadworthy yet (tranny and brakes need finished) and I will be in Manhattan for a show at O'Malleys Alley on 4/20 and sitting in a tattoo parlor chair getting ink done on 4/21... If I get the truck operational I might have to reconsider the tattoos and head that way.

 

Hey Russel, me and Cadillac Daddy-0 are headin up too...that'll be 3 brushes ready to stripe anything left unguarded. If the coupe isn't road worthy by then you should ride with me CDO, plenty of room in the ol wagon

Jay, get another flyer made for this shindig, so I can print it out and tack it up like last year! I forgot who threw together the last one...

I have to have flyers in sequential order or my whole year gets thrown off balance
