I'm doin' this today and can't decide which way to go.... Here's the skinny.... 1963 Ford Falcon 2 door post, white body color, red interior, lowered just right, red painted steelies w stock dog dish caps and rings. Do I go with the 1" whitewalls or flip'em to blackwalls. Both ways will look okay, toss me a bone!!!!!
supremes and skinny whites If you want to run red wheels, then by all means do it, After all it is your ride. Personally, I would not on a 63. But then my opinion isn't worth shit. Anyway, enough of my hot air, back to the topic. Red steelies w/caps & rings, white paint, red interior...... I vote for whites.....
white walls in front redline slicks in back there was a point in time(early 60's) when when white walls were passe .. so be brave and a nonconformist ww and cragar mags .... pimpy dude paperdog
It's a low budget project and i'm tryin' to work with what I got. I'm goin ta put some other wheels on it latter, just tryin to get it together to beat it around!!!!
I hear ya! How about painting the wheels to match the body color? Although, red to match the interior color is cool too. Oh yeah... How about posting some pics of the Falcon.
Here's one from the auction site: More pics of it here . . . an NO its not my auction, so don't bust my chops! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...;3AMEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=280088779774&rd=1,1
Okay Y'all I'm outta here....Whitewalls have it Good for me, Means I don't have to switch um!!!! I'll post some pictures as soon as I get it back on the ground!!!!!
I drove a 61 Falcon in high school back in 1969. In those days, whitewalls were the first thing that came OFF the car, replaced by baby moon hubcaps and blackwall tires on black rims. Only a dork would have kept wide whites on his car in '69....
