I'm wanting to add another print or two for the living room, and I'm looking for suggestions, I have a Robert Williams print of "Devil with a Hammer" up now, and want something that the wife wont think I've completely insane, (as in-will allow me to put up), I love Ratfink, but she doesnt "get it" so....whats anyone have in mind? and yeah, she's pretty tolerable of my likes,...but R.F still has to remain in miniature for now, but I'm wearing her down...:D (maybe after I start on an old truck for her?)

pics or links would be helpful..thanks all

I got some affordable stuff for sale on ebay right now.

You can find it by following the link in my signiture line.

I dig prints and all......especially REAL prints that are limited editions and signed by the artist.

If you buy real art, it appreciates in value over time as the artist's career progresses.

    cheapo poster prints don't.

Buy "Real" art. You won't be sorry........(I am biased though). ;) :D

Check out the work of Jeral Tidwell. His stuff rocks and he has some great prints.

Also check out RYZART. The dude rules with one shot....and I believe his prices are more than fair.

You can't go wrong with a BARNETT piece.

HAMILTON is another dude that sells kick ass original art.

A dude on here named BURNY has been selling some kick ass prints.

NORWELL of course is a good choice for cool prints.

    ........I could go on.

Check out the Friday art show. Loads of cool stuff on there.

I collect rock posters, and have several on my walls. Some have car stuff on them, some don't. All are very colorful, limited editions, and everyone seems to really like them. A good site to browse for posters is www.gigposters.com

Here are a few of the ones I have on the walls, if they'll post. The Cinnamon Altoids is a Coop artist proof, and the Tabu is a signed limited Von Franco.

I just realized that none of these are pics of rock posters, but you get the idea.

try the websites of some lowbrow art galleries and buy some prints or originals instead of posters. Maybe she'll like that better

Like Jeff said , you can get some of that fancy candy or flake model car paint and paint the cheap frames or the mat board inside the picture frame to make the frame and art work look a little more Kustom.

one thing Ive been doing lately is on my black and white car pictures ive been painting the mat board around the picture different primer colors, grey, tan, red oxide, you get color and a black and white picture.

I agree with getting originals vs. posters, but that can take some decent coin sometimes. Limited, signed prints are cool in my book. Speaking of Rock posters, my Wife wants to move the 1st pressing Rick Griffin poster below, from my "office" into the living room. I can't covince her to put anything car related up in there. But then again, I don't have any original peices, just posters, models and diecasts.

I would suggest Kieth Wessner. He does great paintings. very classy and cool.

I think Rodtography.com has great photo prints. theyre big and he only runs limited prints, most only 200 or so. Super cool b&w s. Check it out. I bought a couple for my den. Amazing!

  19. Yeah, Keith Weesner!!! (I hope I spelled his last name right)

I just framed a small print of "Zombie Fly" that I'm going to hang in my office right over another print of his called "Cherry Pie". To me, he captures the cool late '50s - early '60s hot rod look better than anybody.

Hey I saw this today. Its right next to the freeway. How long do you think they are going to let you keep it up there? Its forking huge, and a very busy part of I-5.
