Ohh, man - I was just half kidding Evel.

    Now you got me blushing.....

It was just a last minute napkin sketch - something I whipped out before licking the envelope.

I actually didn't think you were the one opening the mail....cuz yer a rock star and all. :)

Anyway - I hope this thread gets archived. Too cool to see art lovers who actually pick up a nice variety of HAMB art....

I'm already blasting away at something new because of this thread.

Lots of old tiki mugs and stuff. But my favorite is this Pizz original wich was done for me as a tattoo design. I was able to sit and watch it be drawn and chat with Pizz.

I only have two peices hanging in my office right now and that's prolly all that'll go up for a while.

From the Safariknut - The Medicine Man thread

A while back KIRK! requested photos of everyone's private original art collection. Well, I never posted to that thread and now I feel I should have and prolly will. Because the only art that I have hanging in my office are two, both by Ray. One I bought at an auction. The other was a result of another peice, one of Ray's flying eye balls, that I got outbid on by HIS WIFE! When I told Ray that she out bid me, I guess he felt kinda bad because acouple weeks later, this one showed up in the mail, totally unannounced!

These things are huge too. They're like 18"x24". If I'm not mistaken I think these are sample panels that the one of the big three uses to test paint. So the base colors on these panels were painted with a factory test color.

    Thanks Ray!

    Kirk,
You are my new hero, too. It's great to see so many are into art. This post has been really cool. Here's one I got hangin'. My wife was upset that I wouldn't hang anything at home, so this made her happy. (but it's gone as soon as someone wants it)

Here are a few antique book ends I picked up (only took pic of one of each)
the eyball ( by Bordner) and scallops on the "car room" wall :D
There is to much stuff in that room to get a shot of the whole wall with scallops

This may be a dumb question , but how does one go about getting a Weesner without going to a show? Can you get them off his web site? I tried in the past to buy one, but was told I had to go to a art show to buy it. Not sure if that is true or not, but needless to say I didn't have the time to fly to CA to buy it.
