Are you running an electric fuel pump? The stocker mechanical provides enough for two 94s.

    But what about too much?

I think my stocker is flooding my dual 97's, it runs good, but fouls plugs pretty quick.

I'm gonna put a gage on it tonight and see.

Yes, i'm running an eletric pump. I've got one of those small square ones, i've had it forever, don't know where i got it. I took the stock outfit off when i changed intakes. I'm running a Fenton, with two 94's and i think it's getting too much fuel. I've got a Holley fuel regulator on my firewall, and just realized on the box it says, 4.5-9.0. I tried to adjust it down some, but i don't think i can use it. Does Holley make a smaller one? Or, who does? Thought about by-p***ing the regulator, and running off of the pump. Will i still get too much fuel?
    Thanks, Wayne

I'm running the same set up. What jets are you running? Tandem linkage or progressive? I've read that around 2.5 to 3lbs fuel pressure is about right for two carbs. If you try measuring the pressure, make sure to use a gauge that reads low pressure accurately (say 0-10) the gauges that go up higher won't be as accurate below 5psi.

Carquest Part# E84070 Electric Fuel Pump, Low pressure, perfect for a flattie, I know cuz I've run one on 4 different cars. BUT DON'T go to carquest, $AVE Big TIme and order one from Mike at The Hot Rod Company in Madison, WI. Same pump, but cheaper, cuz he cares about you! He is a HAMB ALLIANCE VENDOR and he is golden. He stocks it and I belive he runs one himself.

Holly also make a 0-4 lb regulator, set it with a gauge while the engine is running. Two pounds should be enough.

I am running one of the little square Mr. Gasket electric fuel pumps on my 8BA flattie with three 97's.......I have the fuel pressure regulator from Speedway Motors that is factory set at 2.7 lbs. It can regulate between 1 and 4 lbs.

    Works very well for me.....

As others have replied 3 lbs. works for me with 3- 94's. Doesn't take much to override the needle jets.
