I just thought I'd intrduce myself to get started. I'm in the northeast part of Wyoming where the wind is blowing causing a ground blizzard. It is COOOOLD here. My jolopy is a '50 Chevy 2-door sedan that my parents ordered new and has been in the family since. My cousin had the car the longest and hot rodded the car in the 60's and 70's. I got the car in 2000...it now has a 454 with a BW Super T-10 4-speed. I found this site by accident while looking for a posi third member for the '57 Pontiac rear end that was in the car when it got it. The welded spider gears and 5.13 gears were just a bit too deep for my intended use. The 8.5" 10-bolt in it now makes me nervous, I want to use the Pontiac rear for nostalgia sake. 12-bolts,Dana 60's and 9 " Ford rears are a fall back option if I can't find the parts I need. Stay warm.
Welcome. It sounds like a pretty wild Chevy you got. Big block and four on the floor is way cool. Any pics to show?
