All the Spokane, Wa. boys & girls...

Back when I was getting out of the Navy, I think that's where they took me when Techtronics was trying to recruit me. There and a fun place up in Beaverton called Earthquake Ethel's. Damndest computerized sound and light show in a bar I'd ever seen at the time.
The guys from Techtronics kept thinking up new effects for the show.

 

damn I thought I was OLD...the place was a huge disco........and the earth quake happened every hour on the hour after9pm......because they had,,,ten 18 inch subs hidden in the floor...plus a killer sound system aboveground......Mott the hoople wasnt this loud and thats sayin' something...the city and neighborhood had it shut down in early 80s.....the day disco died ........oh well back to the acropiolis Long live pole dancers and whitewalls

To all that want to do something in Spokane. I say we can all do a shop tour at my place. I got some pretty cool rust to look at. Theres a good eatin place in Deer park and we could drive the rods there and take over the NAPA parking lot for a lil action.

I P.M.'ed everyone the other day while on my lunch break at work, and didn't get a reply, so I figured when it got down to it no one really wanted to?!?!? Maybe it got blocked thru my work?? But i am able to post on the site so I don't think that happened... so anyone that wants to PM me of a time and place to meet, eat some food and then head over to Jim's just let me know the times and days you are available and I will put together what works the best for everyone...Ken

 

The wife and I are coming up to spokane the weekend of march 9th, 10th and 11th. any chance something is going on? any places we should see, not see? Are you gunna get together, I would love to see your rides, and put some faces with the names. Hell i'm such a dork I'll buy the first round.

This weekend works for me, just say when. I probably won't have a hot rod to drive by then, (we're swapping the rear gears in the wayfarer), but I'll be there.

the wife and I toured Spokane this weekend, I liked it alot. Nice friendly people, nice area. but the roads, well, they need some love. But overall I liked it there. I'll be coming up in a couple of weeks, where are the hang-outs and places to see cars on the weekends? Thank you guys for all the help.

Not much happens around here until May. It normally rains alot until early June. The spokane auto boat speed show, our large indoor show is coming up in a couple of weeks.

 

Jim and I hung out together at his shop for a couple of hours on sat.

 

Hi All,
The wife and I are coming to your fair berg this weekend, we plan to go see a few bands, a show at "The Spread" on Friday looks cool..oh yeah and the show there on Saturday looks good too.
But is there any good car stuff going on this weekend? or where are the local hangouts cruise spots to see the local scene? Any pointers would be cool.....
