Wizz magazine ?

I did the metal work on a fenderless 37 ford 2dr a year or so ago. I saw the owner of it today and he was told it was in Wizz car magazine. Does anyone know of this magazine or how I can get ahold of the issue his car is in. I think the magazine might have something to do with the Live Fast shows. Thanks for any info,Steve

 

I have several back issues and I'd be glad to pass it along to you if you can tell me what issue. (Or describe the car a little better - color, wheels, etc. - and I'll look through the few I have and see if I can find the one.) You're welcome to have it if it's one of the ones I have.
(Wizz is mostly really rough, really ratty rods with a few really nice kustoms thrown in every now and then. My "favorite" was the roadster with no windshield, no floor pan, no seat belts, and no firewall!)

 

shouldn't be too hard to find a "fenderless 37 ford" it's not exactly a red duece!

 

Good point, although having a color would make flipping through the pages go a lot quicker.

 

Wizzz Mag is put out in Iowa by Wizzard----The Hot Rod Company carries 'em.
Wizzard's Legends of pinstriping have been to my shows but the mag has nothing to do with Live Fast.

I was at a swap meet one time last year, and I saw the magazine sitting there on the table, so i picked one up while I looked around for the guy running the spot. When I saw him I held it up and said"I took a Wizz off your table!". Everone looked at me funny after that...

I don't remember seeing a feature on it. Was it a feature or just one pic. Now I got to go find all my Whizzz issues. I just talked to him last saturday too.

 

It's in the issue that was sent out the last time in the LIVE FAST pages.there was a thread about wizz a couple of weeks ago.

I just flipped through volume 1 issues 1-4 and volume 2 issues 1, 2, and 4 (that's what I've got) and didn't see it. I'll look more carefully later and if I find it I'll let you know.

Does Wizz do subscriptions?

 

He use to...But the last Wizzz magazine (vol.3 issue 1) was released in January of this year.

 

I was wondering what was going on with Whizzz. I paid for a 2 year subscription at the Tulsa Starbird Car Show and have never recieved an issue. I have called and sent e-mail with no response. I hope I didn't just get a $40 t-shirt! I was really looking forward to getting the mag.

i have a feeling we are all screwed!i actually received my first issue and the tshirt...after i had to bother him for 2 months....that was forever ago [like a year] and havent got shit since!

 

Coulda swore I saw the Wizzz at the Pile-Up in an indoor vendor space. That day was a blur...

I sent a check for a sub and haven't gotten any yet. But he hasn't cashed the check either.

i think you can get it from barracudas kustom newstand and i know for sure you can get it from vintage ford in sacramento ca.they will mail it toyou
