Any SO-CAL / Orange County guys going to GOODGUYS in OC this weekend? Where to BOOZE?

I'm heading out tomorrow for the show at the OC Fairgrounds this weekend. Should be a pretty cool show. So far the swap turnout looks good too.

I'm stoked to be going to my old stomping grounds (Huntington Beach). I'm sure I'll be a **** and drive by all the old haunts.

Since I haven't lived there in years...what's the hot place to get boozed up?!?!

you might get some scenesters, but a great jukebox and stiff drinks at Johnny's in HB. Beach and Slater.

 

In Costa Mesa you can hit up the Goat Hill Tavern or Skoosh Monahans. In Anaheim there's the Doll Hut (formerly Linda's Doll Hut). Let me know if you need more ideas.

im not sure if i am going yet, i plan on thrashing all day on the coupe on saturday

but as far as bars go it depends on what you are looking for,if you want to go downtown but dont want to have to deal with crowds, No Kai Oi is the place to go, its a little hawaiian place with good looking bar tenders and they pour a good drink. theres also Shorehouse, Reds, Crabby's, Johnny's and that all i can think of right now but i know im forgetting a few

 

Oh I forgot about Goat Hill Tavern. It's still going? Was it on Harbor?

The Doll Hut is usually too much of a scene for me.

Kirk, you'll probably want to head down to 4th and Broadway'ish in Long Beach...you'll find some good man lovin' potential for sure. Or, Laguna's just a few minutes down PCH headin' in the other direction.

 

RF, last place I lived down south was off of 4th and Broadway in LB. Definitely good drinking in that neighborhood. Reno Room etc. Me likey!
