Hello everyone. I've been lurking here for a couple of years now, and finally decided to join up. I'm 25, married, with three kids (two dogs and a cat). I work the shop counter at a Chevy dealer in Dallas to try and make ends meet. I've got a 40 Chev project that I'm trying to sell to finance my new car. I just got a 34 Chev tudor. It's in pretty good original condition with the usual wood gone, but a good body with the factory running gear. I keep telling my dad that I want to stay with a inline and the straight axle (the cars a standard), but he doesn't understand. [IMG] Anyway my plans are to get it somewhat drivable for next spring. I don't have any metal-working skills yet, and not much first hand knowledge of cars this old but I'm learning! I doubt I'll be able to help any of you guys and girls out much, but I'll sure as hell be asking alot of questions. [IMG]

I learned to weld with a gas ax and an old 34 Chebie...!

Replaced the wood with one inch square tube. [IMG]

Just ask before you start hacking things apart...! [IMG]
