So yesterday, I got a wild hair up my ass, and did all the little things left on my car to drive it. Finished the wiring, adjusted and bled the brakes. Put the carb on. Reinstalled the radiator, and then drove the bitch to the liqour store. Ran like a top. Accelerated well, stopped and was loud and bumpy. Here are a couple quick shots from yesterday.
Congratulations! I'm still waiting for the day! I really like the pontiac hood ribbed trim bars. I'm trying to figure a way to incorporate a similar look in my Chevy. Did you paint the roof yourself? It looks real good next to the suede. Tucker
The hood for the ponch, I am told bolts right into a 55 chevy. I am not sure if its true, but I have been told by several people. I did paint the roof myself, It is HOK turblue pearl(not flaked). Laid on real heavy with a nice heavy clear. Sam
Ha,ha,ha...Yeah, I was wondering the same thing?! So, was it a bottle in a paper bag or box of cans???
no problem. the color really pops in the sunlight too. I am gonna clean the car up and take some better shots of it soon. sam
Are those T-bird tail light chrome on the bumper? It really sets it off.. mean lookin ride you got there! Congrats on getting her running!
Thanks. The trim that is left is all stock. Just not all the way assembled. Still hunting for some parts. to finish the F bumper and the grille. Sam
The 57 olds belongs to someone else. It has not moved in the last 5 years that I know of. Dont really know all that much about it other than it would nt take much to make it really nice. Sam
