I'm thinking some type of screw in plug for the ends,
maybe a plumbing coupling and plug..
and keeping the same gl*** packs I had under.

the driver's side will need a generator mount
    unless it gets relocated..

Those are bad***, my friend James has some similar on his roadster that were built in the 50's and they used a screw in pipe plug, then they were chromed.

  8. That looks fantastic!!! I'm going to try a set with A tubes on my coupe but try to keep them inside the frame. Those 36 tubes really have a neat look to them. I could only find one at the time I found the A tubes.

    that looks about perfect,
very much what I originally envisioned...

    may still do it someday,
but for now I am using inserts I made using holey tubing, some washers and an old fire blanket

Paul, you might ask MARSHALL if he still has them DRAG-FAST spin on caps I gave him. I think Clark Marshall (SIR) made them..........OLDBEET

I did a tech on these headers a couple years ago.

The big Honkin wing nuts came off a "King-O-Lawn" power edger.
The cap has a grove on the back side filled with hi-temp silicone
that seals pretty good to the end of the cone

Coincidentally they are also on a S2D motor. :D
