Does anyone know exactly where I can find the fuses? I have just spent half an hour on my head under the dash and all I found was anger and a few new swear words. Did I ever mention how much I hate wiring? Please no guesses, I'm hoping to hear from someone who can tell me exactly where they are. I've lost power to dash lights, dome light, tail lights, stop lights....... Headlights and all turn signals work fine. Thanks!!
headlight switch, and the main fuse block should be above/behind the left kick panel if its like my 65 comet
Thanks guys! I'm working on it now. I didn't know it could be so much fun getting a headlight switch out! Can't even get my hand in there to push the little button, oh the joy.
Kev, Your still MY hero, One of my crew guys says " 'lectricity is a Character builder". he has curly hair, and burned fingers...
Oh yeah, he also tried to "jump start" our Trailer gen-set with a 48 volt Racecar starter batery pack. He flew, I saw it. It was kinda funny.
I call it electrickery! I don't understand it too well but I do know there is smoke in the wires under pressure and if you let it out then you have a problem. I got everything working now but if I ever meet the "engineer" who thought that was a good place for fuses.........hell, you can't see them or get to them. real fuckin smart!
