I know I slack...But this is why I hate Paso...Rooms are always sold out..I found some thing 7 miles from San Luis Obispo,, Just wondering if any one has somthing closer... Boy do I love paying almost 200.00 a night for a motel 6...hahahaha I know i'm not the only one looking,,, thanks in advance.. Evel P.s. trying to book it today..
I heard some people have had luck renting houses using Craigslist. I've got a friend who just found a place in SLO, but I'd much rather find a place close so I can partake in the "festivities." Bryan
i wish i could find hotel in paso but i get to stay in atascadero at the carlton and i get to pay $260 night .
They use to rent ya a room out on Camp Roberts for a few bucks, but some of those "Bad Eggs" messed it up I think. I have the phone number to Camp Roberts billeting call them Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm at (805) 238-8312 (unless they changed it) and ask... wouldn't hurt anything...right?
We use to do Camp roberts before the war ..we would get the Captins quarters for 40 bucks a night 4 bedrooms..nice to be connected ..but no love anymore.
We just booked rooms on Sat in Morro Bay, we got 6 of them for our group coming down from WA. Not right in Paso, but with the AAA discount we are at like $125 night. Now we gotta get the cars to make that haul. It is right at 1000 mi door to door.
We are staying in morro bay also. it is like 26 miles or something Each way but totally worth it vs Paying Crazy amounts for a ****y room. CAmp grounds though man.. that is the way to go .
Here's a great campground; http://www.campone.com/cerro.html I live in Morro Bay, the rooms will be cheaper in MB than Paso, plus you get to drive across HWY 41, which is beautiful. If you have the time, the brakes, and the stomach for 300-400 ft cliffs, drive HWY 1 from Morro Bay to Carmel. The views are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! I'd even play tour guide if needed, as long as it doesn't keep me from the show in paso. Eric
There is a brand new hotel that hasn't opened yet right in front of the Hampton in Paso Robles.. If you call the Hampton they may be able to give you the info....Evel, pm me your phone number... I have rooms in Paso but my house will be empty right next to Morro Bay....it only takes me 35 minutes to get to Paso... EVILT

last time I went I drove down from Portland and slept in the back of my car on the side of the road in Paso. Drove to Morro bay and hung out, back to Paso, slept more. It was a blast! Year before last... sorry its a stories of Paso thread now.
