Dads freshly finished Roadster Pickup you may just see this little pickup out this summer.. Its in the upholstry shop getting the (white) fold-down top done as we speak. what da ya think...
It amazes me with the quality of work your Dad puts out, his shop isnt better known on this board. I know the Rolling bones guys know about him =) kick *** RPU. You guys going to the ROundup?
Just got off the phone with your old man ( Yeah right, I'm older then he is ) said you had posted some pics. Hope he brings it to the hills in May when we do our roadster run.
I almost overlooked this thread because the ***le didn't jump out at me, but boy am I glad I looked! That RPU is fantastic. I really like the frame rail splash pans. I love that look. And you can't beat black punctuated with a bit of chrome. The engine is a beauty.
Wow I remember looking at that in his garage years ago. Glad to see it on the street. It must be a ***** finding time for your own stuff running a one man shop! BTW what are some of the specs on the drivetrain.
Missed this thread last year when it was fresh. I have an old thread here on the HAMB that has vintage pics of the truck that was inspiration for this build. Many of you have seen the original in TRJ and on the Salt. Randy did a nice tribute to that truck!
Here is the thread about the original.......neat story as well. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9510&highlight=Shanks
