I finally got my '46 Ford Home!!!!

Well, after three weeks and alot of help from some wonderful friends, I finally got my baby home. After some closer inspection it turns out that she was originally a g***er back in the early 50's (I'm working on getting some do***entation). She now has a Mustang II front end and a Ford 9" rear that the guy we bought it from put in and came with the original Indy shifter still intact.

It was a very cloudy day so the pics aren't the best. Sorry about that. The body is pretty solid with the only rot being the floor panels, trunk, and rocker panels. The rest is just covered in some surface rust. I also left with two truckloads of body parts. I probably have enough to build another car. haha. I'll keep posting as I keep building.

Man i wish iI had you ladies as girlfriends my lady makes me sell my treasures when i bring them home. No joke i had to sleep on the couch for a week when i brought home my last toy

But Hey if she ever Makes you sell something else let me know lol maybe i can trade her shoes or something for your treasures ..You know most girls are ****ers for that or purses and I would get cars or part!'s!=)

I agree with Lexi, if she treats you well in every other aspect then she's allowed one fault. The only way I'd make the hubby sleep on the couch if he bought a project home was to give the car his side of the bed. haha.

Thanks to you too HOTROD! I will definately be posting progress pics. The weather here in Jersey has been a bit unpredictable so I haven't been able to start taking the body apart. Damn me for only having a one car garage! That will change once we're in Texas though . Hopefully I'll have some more pics on Sunday.

 

Ill start sleeping on the coash if you dont stop hogging the bed with the dog and that Patrick starfish pillow!!!!!!
