oil pump for 27 international ????

hi i have just spent the last three days digging out the oil pump on a 4 cyl flat head international it was alloy and had grown over time ........
if we cant find a new one were looking at making a 6 cyl chev one fit (we have lots lying around)
im based in australia so "look in the phone book" is nt a lot of help
is any one famous for having stock of international harvester left ?
or was there a good fix back in the days any one remembers ?
