I decided to only do a partial channel on the coupe. The rear hoops are salvage items from the recycle center. I think they are actually used on Cybex weight lifting machines. Next I am going to get the motor and trans mounts done.

Channeling is lowering the body down over the frame.
What you have done is cee-ing the frame to lower the frame over the suspension while the body remians atop the frame as stock.

  3. I don't think the "c" is part of the frame there

Looks like some real neat stiffening of the wheel 'arch' area to me, not the ch***is.

I can see where the body is covering about half the frame in the first pic, look towards the cowl/firewall. channeled.

Good work Grumpyblues, please post more pic's as I could be tempted to follow your lead as my T coupe needs a helping hand.

What power plant and ****** do you have planned for this project?
Are you running the model A stock rear spring?

Thanks, I plan on a newer banger 140 out of a mustang. The rear spring is a T the frame and rear crossmember are A.
