Really clean welding and fab work!

I've got a general question about the torque arm config. I almost never seen them the same length as the trailing arms but I thought if you didn't keep them close to the same length, the driveshaft universals would bind or wear-out?

Is that just an old-wives tale or is there some 'magic' that's applied to compensate for it?

Regarding the dropping down of the front frame horns/radiator crossmember, do you think you'll have any trouble getting the lower control arm pivot bolt in & out? It seems like this bolt was pretty much right under the frame rail on my sedan, and that bolt is pretty long.

    Again, really nice work.

I cut it where I did in the front for two reasons. One, the Mustang II crossmember still bolts in from the bottom, so I had to cut it back far enough to retain that feature. Two, I needed to cut it far enough forward to gusset it in a way that it would have that "swoop" look from the side profile, but not interfere with the front-most bodymounts that extend down from the firewall.

The spot I cut it at allowed me to do both.

If I measured correctly, once the front frame horns are dropped 2.5", I should be able to still get the bolt in from the front because of the way the frame gradually kicks up in front.

Thanks again for all the kind words guys.

How do you plan to modify the brackets to hold the front sheetmetal? I think I want to z mine. I planned to use the original front suspension.
Do you see any problems with it or should I MII it?

My eye's bugged on the ft. frame stepping. Unreal. The 'stack of dime's' welding, sky reaching rear frame. Well laid out. Stout.
