NUmber three for me. I personally like "T"s with a shorter wheelbase. Taking 6" out would look really cool (IMHO)

I like # 2.....the skinny WW and the Asto's look cool and you can't go wrong with the big MT WW slicks on the back. Skiiny WW on chrome reverse look early 60's perfect too..........

Anything but #2, those would look better on a lowrider or custom. My preference would be #3. Definitely the wide whites.

"I have to ask, are those upholstered school library seats going to get it on a 500 mile drive? Hope the suspension works really well or you have an iron *** if not."

    Hahaha...I guess I had an iron ***.

I'm glad to see you're enjoying it, Dan. I am anxious to see what you come up with. You know what combo I favor...:)

Just my two cents worth but back in the day whitewalls always looked out of place on a hot rod to me. I vote for chromed reversed smoothies and blackwalls.

Welp... I have decided... NONE of the previous pics really did it for me. I forgot all about Team III ET wheels making a 10 spoke lug mounted wheel. I think thats what I'm going to go with as it keeps w/ the appearance of the car, and I dont have to buy new tires. I may just leave the rear alone for now, or maybe flip the tires around to the white wall side. When I get some more $$$ coming my way I might buy a set of the cast centered ET Fuelers or maybe even some straight spoke Americans for the rear.

I like it, nuff said :)

    polished americans with blackwalls!

  18. Fuelers, as an attempt to duplicate the original 16x10 2-piece ETIIIs, are too "new" as they came out in the very late 60's and, if run as cast (not polished), would fit better with other cast parts on the car like cast valve covers, etc. The exception to this I think are either polished straight spoke 5 spokes or polished Halibrands. The polished finish would not "fight" with the chrome plated steel parts and those wheels were around in the mid-60's. IMHO The 10 spoke is a lame attempt to replicate the old 12's - they just don't quite make it for me. Yeah a real 12 spoke will be a pain in the *** to run but if it was easy everyone would do it!

If it were me (since you asked) I'd run Radir's new 18" 12 spokes with solid rotors (perfectly accurate for a mid-late 60's look like around '67) fully polished and either a pair of 15" polished straight spoke 5 spokes or Halibrands on piecrust slicks.
