At the time it seemed like a good idea to move these out, now it seems shortsighted. 1936 Ford coupe, project but virtually perfect body / 1963 Galaxie 427, 425 hp 4 speed / 1954 Ford crestline 312 / 1966 Mustang GT fastback 289 hi po 4 speed / 1966 7 liter Galaxie 4 speed / 69 Torino cobra 428 CJ Auto / 70 Torino Cobra 429 auto and the chance to buy a original Shelby Cobra (Small Block / fairly rough but complete and running) in about 1971 from an Airman shipping out for $ 1500.00 (I thought it was too high) Lots of others came and went but these are the ones I would dearly like to have back.

(not HAMB freindly,but..) my '68 camaro i got shortly after getting my drivers license back in like 1989..

had it all through out high school,,experienced all the typical(and AWESOME) high school things in it,,, rebuilt the engine with the help of my dad,280 comp cam, victor jr, intake,,turbo 350 w/ shift kit,headers,3 1/2 & 8 1/2 welds w/275/60's...did all the body work, steel cowl hood, had it painted "fire engine red" (actually ,the paint job was my graduation present from my parents,,and the tint was a present from one of my uncles:D)and upholstered, pioneer stereo system, tinted windows(hey, that was cool back then!),that car was so *****in ,,old guys hated it when they saw a 16 year old pull up in a car that not only looked killer, but would smoke their ***es:D had it a couple years after graduation and then sold it cuz i HAD to have a HARLEY big twin,,,the harley was cool,,but i wish i never would have got ride of it,,,ESPECIALLY for what i sold it for at the time,,,,,you cant even buy a rusty hulk now for what i sold it for back then!!

it makes me so sick that i try not to even think about it anymore,,,i guess thats why i hate camaros now:D

but seriously,,the memories of that car together with my dad helping ,me out are memeories that mean SO MUCH to me,,,it doesnt matter how many cars i have fixed up since or what kind of cars they are,,none could ever take the place of the memories shared in that car,,,
shortly after selling it,,the new owner contacted me and told me that it had been stolen and stripped down to the shell...

there have been times when i have thought of replicateing the car,,,but two things,,,

a),,no mater what,,it would NEVER be the same,,,

and b.) camaros are too freakin expensive nowadays,,,

The one thing I regret giving up most is not even car related.

I once did a favor for my next door neighbor, driving a van from GA to NJ and back to pick up some family heirlooms for him. When we got home, he gave me a very nice violin from his collection of stuff. Not being a violinist, I let it sit in a closet for several years.

Then in a fit of stupidity, I traded it for a hopped up 289. Got a nice running, strong small block Ford for the Falcon I had then. Drove it for a couple of years, then sold it.

Looking back, I wish I had kept the violin. It was not all that valuable, but it was given to me in an act of kindness and I really underestimated the true meaning of that gift. If I had it now, at least I would have some remembrance of that friend and neighbor who has long since p***ed away.

    this...
i bought it in 1984 for $500.00 and drove it home. it had a 312 v-8 in it, 3 on the tree and some kind of cast iron headers. sold it a year later for $1,000.00 in this same condition. i was in high school at the time, and i bought a 71 chevelle with the money.
