My radiator for the Straight 8 is really nasty looking...I do want to use it because it has "that look" to it. - Br*** tanks...
Can anyone recommend a shop in Austin? It needs rodded out and general overhaul.

I have had nothing but good luck with everything I have ever taken to "Mr. Cool" off of Burnet Road (north).

dont forget DNT on St. John's/Lamar (1blk east of Lamar). re-did my original radiator for my '58 and runs cool in texas summers and traffic. great hand-fab'd work. worth every penny.

i wont take my radiators anywhere else.

    call 'em up 512-467-0063.

McCool took care of my DeSoto radiator and also boiled out my gas tank and a couple of bike tanks too.

  8. I recommended DNT for a few folks, but I've seen some of his "custom" radiators and they turned out to be the ugliest things I've ever seen. Seems like a 50/50 chance to get some good work there, I think he's pretty good at recore/rodding out, etc, but building from scratch aint his thang.
