I forgot to post this a while ago. When I was at the local junkyard recently, this car was in the cars for sale area. Any idea wtf it is?

  2. Early '50s Hudson. Say about a 51 or 2.

    I'll say Packard.

  7. You can always tell a Packard grille. Pretty much their signature over the years.

Nah, I'm already above my maximum cars right now, I have 5 in a driveway that will fit 4. They always have cool stuff up there. They have a pair of falcons for $1400. One with a ***le, one for parts. Always have a couple of cl***ics for sale, plus an entire section of junked ones.

    1983 SUBARU!!!!! (just kidding)

Either a 51 or 52 Patrician or Mayfair.

I'm guessing 51 Mayfair. By no means would I call myself a Packard expert, but it doesn't seem to have the correct grill to be a clipper.

    Is it beer:30 pm yet????

  13. was the mayfair the lower model?
I'm noting the lack of scoops/portholes on the rear fenders.

It is a 52-53 Packard more than likely a Patrician..don't buy it, buy mine with the three-speed w/overdrive,fender skirts, radio, rare back-up lights, etc. etc. 327 "Thunderbolt" straight eight....

So, according to what I see on the spotter's guide it's a 51 200 or 300. Looks like I was wrong about the mayfair deal, as the myfair had some little starburst looking gizmos on the rear quarter, and like the car in the photo, the 2 & 3 hundreds just had the straight trim piece.

If you do buy it, I've got a full contintental kit for you from a 53 Caribbean that should bolt right on.

Is that at Harry's or EZ Pull? Just at EZ last weekend and didn't see it there, but I've been know to have tunnel vision when I'm looking for something in particular like last weekend

Holy ****, I just logged back on, and my email is flooded with questions about that car. Its in EZ Pull in New Ringold PA.

Here are some other pictures I took from that yard.
